The challenge
The Barbell Co. has 22 trainers, each with a different commission structure: hourly, % of PT package, % of group class, plus bonuses.
Calculating payroll took 8 hours every other week and inevitably triggered disputes.
Trainers had no real-time visibility into what they'd earned, which made them defensive about every booking.
