Setting up UPI autopay mandates
Get members to pre-authorize recurring payments. The single biggest lever for renewal rates.

UPI autopay is the most reliable way to collect renewals in India. Once a member sets up a mandate, their renewal happens automatically — no reminders, no chasing. Mandates work even when the member changes phones.
How to enable it
- Go to Settings → Payments → UPI Autopay
- Toggle "Enable UPI Autopay" — your Razorpay account is required
- Set the maximum mandate amount per member (we recommend 1.2× your highest plan)
- Choose whether to retry failed mandates and for how many days
How members enable it
When a member pays for any plan via UPI, we automatically prompt them to authorize a recurring mandate for future renewals. They tap once in their UPI app to approve.
On average, gyms see 73% of new UPI-paying members opt into autopay. The renewal rate for those members is 96%.
