Setting up face-recognition check-in
Turn any tablet into a face-recognition kiosk in 10 minutes.

Face-recognition check-in works on any iOS or Android tablet (or phone) with a front camera. It runs locally on the device — no biometric data ever leaves your gym.
Setup
- Install the Kasratbook Kiosk app on your tablet from the App Store or Play Store
- Sign in with your Kasratbook account
- Choose "Face recognition" mode
- Mount the tablet at member height in good lighting
- Members enroll once by tapping their phone number and looking at the camera for 3 seconds
Best practices
- Mount the tablet at face level — slightly below if your members are mostly tall
- Avoid backlit positions (window directly behind the member)
- Make sure ambient lighting is even — avoid direct overhead spots
- Re-enroll members if their appearance changes significantly (long hair → short, beard, glasses)
